Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking a Financial Business Analyst III at the Savannah Machinery Works site. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Leadership to deliver actionable insights on profitability and productivity.

The role requires advanced financial analysis, cost accounting, forecasting, and BI skills to support monthly closes and capital investment decisions while driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; 5+ years accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to analyze data and make sound recommendations with limited direction.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and operational analysis to support decisions, budgeting, forecasting and performance improvement initiatives.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including profit recognition, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analyze project, P&L, and balance sheet performance, comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts.
• Manage inventory and standard costing processes, including forecasting, cycle counts, and inventory reporting.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Project Management teams to provide financial insights to support decisions.
