Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Financial Analyst to act as the liaison between the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Business Management, ensuring financial integrity and compliance. The role will mentor analysts, monitor costing structures, and oversee unallowable expenditures.

Onsite options include Idaho Falls or the INL desert site with 9x80 or 4x10 schedules. Responsibilities include indirect rate analyses, data provisioning for management, and preparation of financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with required experience or Master’s degree with relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis within a laboratory or government context is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE L or Q clearance may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparation and analysis of laboratory indirect rates and forecasts.
• Provide data for laboratory level and senior management data requests; perform ad-hoc analysis.
• Mentor staff on burden applicability, charging practices, cost models, and related topics.
• Prepare laboratory level financial reports and Leadership/Management Team presentations.
• Forecast out-year funding, carryover projections, FTE projections, and indirect cost affordability.
• Maintain burden schedules and monitor unallowable expenditures.
• Support other duties and special projects as assigned.
