Job summary

Oracle Corporation's OCI Finance team seeks a Principal Financial Analyst for storage. You will own end-to-end financial ownership, translate complex infrastructure dynamics into actionable insights, and partner with Product and Engineering to guide investments and efficiency.

You will model scenarios, analyze pricing, and drive margin optimization, while embedding with engineering leaders to influence strategic decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years finance experience (MBA a plus).
• Knowledge of Cloud Technology and Infrastructure and/or experience supporting engineering preferred but not required.
• Excellent communicator with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, finance, supply chain, operations, and leadership.
• Results-driven with ability to translate ideas into actionable operational plans.
• Track record of using data insights to drive decision-making.
• Strong collaboration skills to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, self-directed and proactive.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools to enhance reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop scenario-based financial and business models with product-level insights.
• Perform competitive analysis, pricing, and cost modeling for NPI.
• Link business strategy to financial reporting using KPIs and goals.
• Influence investment decisions through detailed financial analysis.
• Drive gross margin optimization through analysis of drivers.
• Own ROB activities (planning and budgeting) aligned with corporate needs.
• Participate in S&OP to ensure capacity investments are appropriate.
• Embed with engineering leaders and act as trusted advisor.
• Drive policies that monitor and support objectives.
