Job summary

Archdiocese of New Orleans is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytical work across Administrative Offices, Catholic schools, and ministries. You will coordinate budgets, develop cash flow forecasts, and deliver analyses to inform leadership decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with school leaders, parish personnel, and archdiocesan leadership. Strong Excel and financial systems experience are required, with a nonprofit focus

Qualifications

• Five+ years of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related experience.
• Experience preparing operating budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Experience interpreting financial information for leadership.
• Nonprofit, educational or Catholic nonprofit operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual operating budget process for Administrative Offices.
• Develop budgets with department leaders and analyze variances.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses for executives.
• Develop financial models, forecasts and analyses for decision-making.
• Prepare professional financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and analyze liquidity.
