Venteon is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for operating subsidiaries and consolidated holding companies in the Metro Detroit area. The role emphasizes analyzing data, building financial models and delivering timely insights to senior leadership.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Economics and at least two years of related analytical experience, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
• Minimum 2+ years of related analytical experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial models/information.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with superiors and stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Supports budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for operating subsidiaries and holding companies.
• Collects, organizes, and analyzes data used to develop financial projections.
• Maintains and upgrades financial models to improve accuracy of projections.
• Builds partnerships with leadership to inform business decisions and provide end-to-end Finance support.
• Develops complex scenarios, sensitivities and analyses for projects and ad hoc requests.
• Monitors actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Provides analytical insights to drive financial results and decision making.
• Prepares financial reports and presentations for leadership and Board of Directors.
• Collaborates with Finance & Treasury to implement best practices and new frameworks.
• Participates in cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and automation.
• Presents forecasts and financial results to peers and leadership.
• Supports capital investment forecasts and treasury activities.
