Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in El Segundo, CA seeks a Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead GAAP reporting, SEC disclosures, and SOX compliance.

The role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and Accounting and manages close processes, policy updates, and training across the team. The position requires extensive accounting background, Big 4 audit experience at the manager level, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 15 years of relevant work experience, or higher degrees with fewer years of experience.
• Big 4 audit experience at manager level or higher.
• Excellent understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sector financial reporting and close activities for SEC disclosures.
• Review and approve journal entries in SAP and HFM.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights to management.
• Lead the Sector’s SOX program and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
