Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Corporate Finance Project Manager to drive FP&A, automation, analytics, and strategic finance initiatives. You will manage multi-functional projects, engage Finance, Technology, and Business teams, and ensure disciplined execution with benefits realization.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Finance PMO and focuses on delivering strategic Finance initiatives across the organization. Onsite in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, information systems, or an equivalent combination of education.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Project Management, Business Transformation, or Consulting.
• Proven track record leading large-scale cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives with senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster collaboration across Finance, BTS, and Business functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, milestones, and resource strategies.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders and third-party partners to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budgets.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Drive initiatives in process, technology, automation, analytics and AI to improve Finance efficiency.
• Provide governance through communications, change management, and reporting.
• Track achievements against objectives and benefits realization targets.
• Identify challenges and opportunities and develop recommendations for project success.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining stakeholder engagement.
• Support business adoption activities and change management throughout delivery.
