CS Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Business Strategy Analyst to join our Commercial Operations team. This role focuses on strategic planning, financial analysis, and performance management across revenue, profitability, and operational KPIs.

The ideal candidate has experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, FP&A, or related fields, with strong model-building and executive presentation skills. Collaboration with Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, or a related business discipline required; MBA preferred.
Experience at a leading consulting firm or investment banking is a plus.
Strong understanding of P&L analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, business planning, and performance management.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling, business analysis, and executive-level presentations.
Experience developing KPIs, management scorecards, and executive reporting to support business performance discussions and decision-making.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze business and financial performance, including revenue, profitability, P&L results, budgets, forecasts, variances, and operational KPIs.
Develop financial and operational models to support strategic planning, forecasting, resource allocation, investment decisions, and business performance management.
Identify business trends, performance gaps, risks, and growth opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Support annual operating plans, long-range strategic planning, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and other leadership planning activities.
Develop business cases, scenario analyses, investment evaluations, and strategic recommendations for commercial and operational initiatives.
Partner with Finance, Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
Conduct market, customer, industry, and competitive analysis to support commercial strategy and business planning.
Prepare executive-level presentations, performance scorecards, and management reporting that clearly communicate business results, trends, and recommendations.
Support strategic initiatives and special projects from initial business analysis through recommendation and implementation.
Present business insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders.
