Arizona Public Service Company is seeking a Financial Analyst II to participate in a range of financial analysis projects including budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting. You will gather data, update models and report results, partnering with teams to support decision-making and financial planning.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field and at least two years of relevant experience; GAAP knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or related field.
• Knowledge of finance, economics, business operations or related areas; GAAP knowledge desirable.
• Strong research, data management and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and database tools.

Responsabilités

• Performs budgeting, accruals, variance analysis and short- and long-term forecasting for business units under supervision.
• Supports monthly close by preparing accruals, variance explanations and communicating results to management.
• Ensures financial events are reported to Accounting for proper recording and treatment.
• Develops performance report packages and supports business unit planning projects.
