Job summary

Mercor in New York City is seeking a Senior Strategic Finance professional to advance our cost and pricing initiatives. You will build self-contained analyses from mock files and deliver clear recommendations for investment and pricing decisions.

In this role you will develop business cases with NPV/IRR, conduct scenario analyses, and rank capital allocations across the portfolio to support leadership discussions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning inside an operating company.
• Ownership of a capital or pricing decision that went to a leadership forum.

Responsibilities

• Build business cases and investment appraisals with NPV, IRR and payback for a project, product, or make-versus-buy decision.
• Produce capital allocation determinations ranking investments against hurdle rates with portfolio review.
• Build scenario and sensitivity analyses of the corporate plan across demand, pricing and cost.
• Analyze pricing and discount economics supporting price setting and deal desk approvals with margin impact.
• Produce market sizing and competitive landscape analysis, cohort and unit economics, and cost baseline and savings analysis for a cost reduction program.
