Job summary

Riverstone Logistics in Rock Hill, SC, seeks a Manager, Strategic Finance to partner with the CFO on high-impact accounting, revenue, and analysis projects across NetSuite and billing platforms.

You will drive technical accounting research, financial modeling, close processes, and management reporting while collaborating with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, IT, Sales, and Client Success. Priorities shift with quarterly needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 4+ years in public accounting, consulting, or project-based finance/accounting roles.
• Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous requests into scoped, finished deliverables.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and month-end close mechanics.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid financial modeling ability.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and billing platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and close activities, including revenue recognition and purchase accounting for acquisitions.
• Develop reserve and accrual methodologies and support external audits.
• Analyze accounts and support lender reporting; build recurring processes for balance sheets.
• Perform revenue and billing analyses; validate contracted terms against billed amounts.
• Build financial models and business cases for pricing, capex, and new client programs.
• Create dashboards tracking DSO, aging, dispute drivers, and collectability across clients and segments.
• Support acquisition diligence, quality of earnings, and post-close integration workstreams.
• Document procedures and drive process improvements across finance and accounting.
