Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Finance Manager to act as the financial leader and strategic partner for one or more manufacturing facilities. You will drive financial performance, forecast, budget, and provide insights that improve profitability while maintaining strong controls.

The role requires collaboration with plant leadership, capital investment analysis, and rigorous financial reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A CPA/MBA is preferred, with experience across ERP platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting or business analysis.
• Strong FP&A skills with budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling experience.
• Proven ability to influence decisions through analysis and recommendations.
• Experience partnering with operations leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and detail orientation; ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial reporting for facilities.
• Analyze results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with plant and commercial leaders for revenue growth, margin, and cost optimization.
• Monitor performance metrics and communicate insights to leadership.
• Develop financial models to support long-term planning and capital decisions.
• Provide financial guidance and decision support to plant leadership.
