Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Finance Manager for Global Procurement Organization Finance to partner with Category leaders overseeing $6B in spend. You will drive complex analyses, guide strategic negotiations, and deliver cost savings through data-driven insights that influence vendor terms and contracts.

You will mentor junior analysts, lead cross-functional initiatives, and scale procurement impact across Amazon Operations while shaping long-term financial strategy and controllership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business
• Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
• Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Responsibilities

• Challenge business partner assumptions during negotiations and throughout the RFP process, providing disruptive ideas and strategic analyses that strengthen vendor selection and contract terms
• Design and execute complex financial analyses that deliver negotiation leverage, illuminating cost drivers and trade-offs that influence procurement decisions
• Lead strategic business reviews with senior leaders, fostering constructive dialogue and driving alignment on procurement strategies
• Solve complex problems independently, making judgment calls on escalation and designing solutions that balance short-term and long-term needs
• Drive large-scale process improvements and continuous improvement projects from start to finish, identifying automation opportunities and managing timelines independently
• Identify additional spend categories for business team management, thinking big to grow long-term value and expand procurement impact
