You will lead cost frameworks, deliver data-driven insights, and influence investments to maximize cost efficiency and performance at scale within AWS hardware programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 5+ years of building financial and operational reports that inform business decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field or 5+ years of quantitative role experience.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the investment thesis for major hardware programs and shape multi-billion-dollar capital allocation decisions.
• Define the cost and performance strategy that determines where AWS invests to win competitively at scale.
• Present recommendations to AWS senior leadership to influence the hardware roadmap.
• Lead TCO and NPV analysis to evaluate technology trade-offs and rank investment options.
• Own the cost framework underpinning every hardware investment decision and improve its speed and accuracy.
