Job summary

Centric Brands Inc. is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to build complex financial models and drive strategic planning across the organization.

You will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance and collaborate with CFO/CEO-level peers to whiteboard scenario analyses that shape our growth. The role requires strong Excel skills, accounting knowledge, and at least 2 years in corporate finance, with investment banking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate finance experience
• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, data analytics or mathematics
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and write effectively
• Interest in CFA studies is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and enhance financial models to support strategic decisions
• Develop detailed business plans and long-range forecasts
• Prepare financial analyses for Executive and Board presentations
• Assist in evaluating M&A, licenses, and joint ventures
• Analyze credit and governance documents
• Evaluate financial returns for lenders and investors
• Attend sessions with CFO/CEO and senior executives
• Prepare monthly financial reporting materials for Board

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Strategic Finance Manager will work with all functional areas of the organization and report directly to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance to develop complex, dynamic, and integrated financial models and project analyses. This role offers a unique opportunity to “white board” financial scenario sensitivities that will direct the strategic course of the organization combined with the ability to develop a diverse and broad corporate finance skill set.

• Building, managing and enhancing comprehensive financial models that support strategic decision making for the organization.
• Developing detailed and sensitized business plans and long-range forecasts.
• Preparing financial analysis and outputs for Executive and Board level presentations.
• Assisting in the assessment and execution of various M&A and license acquisitions and JVs.
• Analyzing and reviewing credit and other legal governing documents.
• Evaluating financial returns to current and potential lenders/investors.
• Attending key sessions with high-level executives, including direct interaction with the CFO and CEO.
• Preparing monthly financial reporting materials for the Board of Directors and Shareholders.

• A demonstrated ability to write effectively
• A desire to work in a team environment, often under tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance
• At least 2 years of work experience in corporate finance
• Previous investment banking experience is strongly preferred
• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, data analytics/mathematics and has, or is, considering pursuing CFA

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
