Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning and performance analysis for a major Line of Business. You will partner with affiliate CFOs, develop forecasts, analyze trends, and recommend actions to drive profitability while managing risk.

You will oversee budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting, build dashboards, mentor analysts, and coordinate with Bancorp Finance to align with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Requires at least 10 years of accounting or finance related experience; strong financial planning experience.
• Banking or Financial Services experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic spreadsheet applications and able to learn company systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes annual profit plan and rolling forecast for all line of business.
• Analyzes business performance, makes recommendations for improvements and measures progress.
• Develops metrics and variance analysis of actual results; creates and publishes graphics to communicate results.
• Generates forecasts and analyzes sales trends.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures.
• Oversees project progress and guides staff to meet objectives.
