Job summary

The Regional Finance Director at Canteen, part of Compass Group USA, is an on-site role in Middletown, PA, partnering with operations to drive profitability through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

The role leads finance team development, ensures internal controls, and guides decision-making with P&L management and timely month-end close.

Candidates should have 5+ years of finance experience, a bachelor's in finance or related field, and experience in hospitality/retail industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business (preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• Previous supervisory or people management experience.
• Experience supporting an operationally focused business environment preferred.
• Hospitality/retail/foodservice/distribution industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with operations leadership.
• Manage forecasts, analyze trends, risks, and opportunities affecting financial performance.
• Oversee month-end close, reporting, and variance analysis with accuracy.
• Own and analyze P&L performance and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting requirements.
• Coach and develop finance team members for continuous improvement.
