Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay seeks a strategic Vice President of Finance to lead financial operations, planning, and stewardship for a mission-driven nonprofit. This executive role partners with the President, Board, and department leaders to ensure sustainability and impact.

The ideal candidate has nonprofit accounting expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for governance and program leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA, MBA, or other relevant advanced credential preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible accounting and financial management experience.
• Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred, including fund accounting.
• Experience managing grants, government funding, or restricted awards.
• Experience presenting financial information to executive leadership, boards, or finance committees.
• Experience supervising and developing accounting or finance staff.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools; Sage Intacct and Martus a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budgeting, financial reporting, accounting operations, and audit preparation.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and close processes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board and Finance Committee.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial statements for external reporting.
• Collaborate with program, development, operations, and administration teams on resources.
• Develop dashboards and financial analyses to support decision-making.
