Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Financial Analyst to join our team in San Diego, CA or Palmdale, CA. This role supports monthly/quarterly financial reporting, LRSP/Annual Operating Plans, and profitability analyses for the Air Dominance Division.

The position requires an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance and a strong background in budget development, forecasting, and leadership briefings. On-site work only with some travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business/finance/accounting or related field; 8+ years in finance or related area, or Master's degree with 6+ years.
Experience with financial planning, reporting, analysis, and SOX compliance.
Experience with Cognos, Planning Analytics, Excel macros, Pivot tables, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Support monthly/quarterly financial reporting and planning processes.
Develop LRSP and Annual Operating Plans.
Support program financials, forecasting, and profitability analyses.
Assist invoicing, collections, and SOX compliance; prepare leadership briefings.
