Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires degree in accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in the normal line of progression.
• Familiarity with federal financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Chief Financial Officer in developing and implementing the financial plan and budget.
• Provides supports for outcomes, assessments, cost-benefit analyses and assist with business planning and monitors fiscal viability.
• Carries out and ensures full compliance with all Federal, Departmental and VHA financial policies, regulations and procedures.
