Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to own critical functions within the rapidly growing Middle Mile org, supporting Surface Transportation and FP&A. You will lead financial planning for middle mile, build standardized reporting, and partner with operations teams to improve cost structure and delivery performance.

The role requires 5+ years in tax/finance, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with data mining/tools like SQL/ETL; MBA or CPA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead overall middle mile (sort centers + linehaul) financial planning, by generating cost bridges, partnering with key stakeholders to generate narratives for senior leadership, and distilling key insights on the impact of KPIs on our performance
• Play a key role in our journey for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
• Provide financial support to business partners on key initiatives that improve the quality of deliveries, speed of delivery and/or reduce costs
• Identify risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate gaps.
• Proactively partner with managers to prioritize and focus on high-impact activities and to de-prioritize those which are unlikely to drive material improvement.
• Contributes to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence.
