Atoms seeks a strategic finance professional to own and evolve financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for a fast-growing, real-world robotics business based in New York. You will build KPI frameworks, partner with accounting, and drive headcount and spend decisions aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4 to 6 years of experience in a highly analytical environment
• Exceptional financial modeling skills and ability to build clear, accurate models
• Strong strategic thinking and problem solving, ability to structure ambiguous questions
• Detail oriented with strong business judgment
• High ownership, independent judgment, bias toward action
• Clear, concise communication and team player mindset
• Interest in in-person, collaborative team in NY/ SF/ LA
• Thoughtful use of AI as a research and structuring aid

Responsibilities

• Help build the Strategic Finance function, support Head of Strategic Finance and leaders to strengthen financial foundation and growth
• Own and improve Picnic’s financial model, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Build management reporting and KPI frameworks; partner with Accounting to reflect actuals accurately
• Lead headcount and operating expense planning aligning resources to priorities and returns
• Evaluate strategic opportunities across growth, pricing, unit economics, cost optimization, market expansion
• Conduct market sizing, competitive intel, and industry research to inform strategy
• Take on broader strategic responsibilities as you grow with the business
