Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a Finance Professional to coordinate, track, and balance the workforce ceiling within the FPB unit. This role interfaces with management offices, fund sources, and HR to ensure internal controls and balanced staffing across budgets.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, superb customer service, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial products while growing within Financial Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead balancing of the NNL Workforce Ceiling across the 8-year budget period.
• Provide insight into workforce challenges and potential solutions across the Program.
• Organize and communicate input from a wide range of stakeholders.
• Oversee submission of Workforce documents for the Naval Reactors Plan.
• Lead ad-hoc requests from government or senior leadership.
• Lead additional deliverables like the Continuing Resolution Plan.
• Provide backup support and surge capacity for FPB staff.
• Keep management informed with concise progress updates.
