Job summary
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Directorate Operations Unit, supporting budgeting, cost control, resource planning, and financial performance analysis in a collaborative environment. You will help ensure compliance and drive optimal financial performance for the program mission.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's with 1+ year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
- Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience analyzing financial performance and providing business recommendations.
- Excellent teaming skills including working across business locations.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial functions including resource planning, data analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
- Validate and analyze financial performance data and budgetary information to ensure compliance and drive optimal financial performance.
- Recommend solutions to help sustain successful financial operations for the program mission.
