Transamerica is seeking a Lead Specialist, Financial Analysis to partner with senior Enterprise Technology leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and technology spend management. You will translate financial data into strategic recommendations guiding projects and resource allocation.

The role requires strong financial analysis, ability to influence business leaders, and experience in the insurance/financial services sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
Ten years of financial analysis experience in insurance, financial services or investment management.
Expert knowledge of accounting/finance.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Strategic thinker who can discuss business/market issues at a macro level.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills for timely decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

Lead or participate in large cross-functional projects with financial ownership.
Review data to determine past performance and project financial results.
Provide advanced financial analysis for two technology development teams.
Support cost control and track efficiency initiatives.
