Transamerica is seeking a Lead Specialist, Financial Analysis to partner with Enterprise Technology leaders on budgeting, forecasting, technology spend management and investment planning. The role blends deep financial analysis with influence to drive strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of financial analysis experience in insurance/financial services, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Excel and financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of financial analysis experience in insurance/financial services.
• Expert knowledge of accounting/finance and MS Office/Excel.
• Analytical and problem solving skills with strategic thinking.
• Ability to communicate with senior management on macro issues.
• Strong organizational skills and timely decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in large cross-functional projects with financial insight.
• Interpret data to determine past performance and project results.
• Provide higher-level financial analysis for technology development teams.
• Collaborate on cost control, efficiency initiatives, and tracking.
• Create communications for complex messages to audiences at all levels.
• Develop business relationships with management to meet goals.
• Partner with financial analysts supporting technology teams.
