Job summary

Ankura is seeking a University Associate Intern in New York, NY to support the Office of the CFO and finance teams. You will participate in long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting, gaining exposure to EBITDA-focused analyses and data visualization.

You will collaborate with professionals to improve working capital, financial processes, and the use of AI-enabled tools to accelerate insight and decision making during a fast-paced internship environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and thrive in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Support long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
• Design management reporting packages with KPI focus (e.g., EBITDA).
• Leverage data analytics and visualization to influence decisions.
• Drive working capital improvements and cash flow transparency.
• Assist with transaction prep and interim leadership needs.
• Identify AI opportunities to automate finance processes.
