Burq seeks a VP of Finance to scale finance and operations as the company grows. You will own budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and financial reporting, partnering with founders to make strategic decisions. You are a hands-on builder who can model, forecast, and present to the board.

This fully remote role is open to the United States and Canada, with occasional in-person off-sites. Burq offers competitive pay, stock options, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• 10+ years across finance and operations with senior leadership experience.
• Hands-on player-coach; you build the model, forecast, and board deck yourself.
• Has led or been central to growth fundraising — modeling, diligence, and investor/board management.
• Strong accounting fluency with close and controls, and experience maturing FP&A functions.

Responsabilidades

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and a rolling financial model grounded in actual results.
• Deliver real-time visibility into burn, runway, and cash.
• Own capital-allocation discipline: ROI on teams, initiatives, and investments.
• Lead investor and board reporting, and cap table management.
