Job summary

Kane County ROE is seeking a Director of Finance to lead all fiscal operations, drive the annual budget, ensure strong internal controls, and maintain transparent financial reporting. This role collaborates with cabinet leadership and district partners to safeguard public funds and advance the ROE's mission.

The position requires a master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Management, at least 5 years in finance with 2 in management, and preferred CSBO endorsement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management is required.
• Minimum 5 years in the field, with at least 2 years in a management position.
• CSBO endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and train ROE staff using Finance software and procedures.
• Direct all ROE financial operations and oversee financial systems with accurate GL maintenance and fiscal transparency.
• Direct ROE annual budgeting aligned with priorities.
• Oversee investments, cash management, grants, AP/AR, and required reporting.
• Serve as Payroll Coordinator and TRS Administrator.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and submission documentation.
• Present regular financial reports to ROE Cabinet and support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with District CSBO networks and ROE departments.
