Job summary

The Union WELL, Inc. invites applications for the Director of Financial Services to lead accounting, budgeting, audits, and financial reporting for Union WELL, Inc. and the University Union operations.

This role ensures GAAP compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning. You will supervise the Financial Services staff, coordinate with university and external auditors, and report to the Executive Director with a focus on fiscal health and compliant financial management for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• Demonstrated progressively responsible work experience in a management or supervisory position, with financial operations, accounting and auditing, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience using MIP Fund Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, manages, and oversees the provision of accounting and related business services by the Financial Services Department.
• Directs budget development and oversight; monitors departmental performance against budget.
• Oversees financial reporting, audits, and tax filings; ensures GAAP compliance and internal controls.
