This senior role encompasses reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics, partnering with operations to translate data into informed decisions. The ideal candidate brings extensive financial leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of process improvement within transportation or logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years in management roles with financial leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Experience working cross-functionally to align financial strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic financial advisor to Flatbed Solutions leadership, informing key business decisions.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting process for the business, aligning plans with broader organizational goals.
• Oversee revenue cycle activities to ensure accurate, timely revenue recognition.
• Provide financial analysis to support historical, planned, and forecasted results, staying informed on industry trends.
• Identify opportunities to drive customer value, revenue growth, and margin improvement.
• Drive cross-department collaboration to execute strategic initiatives.
• Prepare financial performance summaries and recommendations for executive leadership and the board.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a data-driven culture.
• Assist in pricing analysis and evaluation of new business opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
