Job summary

Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Director of Finance (Clinics) to provide strategic financial leadership across facilities. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and capital planning, partnering with leaders to optimize performance and ensure robust internal controls.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to enhance financial outcomes for the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or seven+ years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a closely related field with a Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements, reports, and analysis.
• Leads budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual operating and capital budgets.
• Conducts financial risk assessments and provides strategic insights for decisions.
• Manages general ledger activities, reconciliations, fixed assets, and accounts payable review.
• Drives margin improvement, cost containment, and revenue optimization with facility leadership.
• Directs month-end and year-end close ensuring internal controls and deadlines.
