Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. seeks an Executive Director, Finance to partner with Clinical Development and senior leadership. You will own end-to-end financial oversight of clinical development, manage budgeting, trial cost modeling, vendor oversight, and alliance finance while leading a finance team.

You will drive forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range resource planning, delivering monthly reports to R&D leadership. Strong collaboration across functions and time zones is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience in biotech/pharma with clinical development and FP&A exposure.
• Experience building and managing clinical trial budgets and vendor financial oversight.
• Strong understanding of global clinical development processes and regulatory pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead alliance finance responsibilities for partnered clinical programs with budgeting and cost-sharing.
• Oversee budgeting, cost modeling, enrollment forecasts, and OPEX projections for clinical studies.
• Provide FP&A leadership including annual planning, quarterly forecasts, variance analyses, and headcount planning.
• Deliver monthly R&D leadership reports with insights on trial spend and financial risks.
• Build and develop a high-performing clinical finance team and drive process improvements.
