Job summary

The Arc Fresno Madera Counties seeks a Director of Finance to supervise accounting functions and provide strategic oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and funding strategies. The role partners with the Executive Director to advance the organization’s financial health and mission.

Responsibilities include managing the accounting department, ensuring GAAP compliance, coordinating payroll, and leading financial reporting and asset management across programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including workflow, individual staff performance, and monitoring of assignments and follow through.
• Ensures the agency’s compliance with all pertinent State/Federal laws and regulations as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Assists the Executive Director with draft budgets and projections for new projects and contracts.
• Oversees budgeting, financial reporting, payroll accuracy, and asset management to protect agency resources.
