Job summary

SoFi is seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to join the Strategic Finance team in Seattle. You will own the financial strategy for SoFi Checking & Savings and Credit Card, leading multi-year plans, forecasting, and capital allocation with AI-enabled modeling and rapid analytics.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or related field, ideally fintech or consumer financial services
• Deep expertise in consumer finance economics, with strong Credit Card unit economics and P&L dynamics
• Proven ability to analyze unit economics across cohorts, channels, products, and segments
• Expert financial modeling and scenario analysis, driver-based models, large data sets
• Fluency with AI tools and applying them to modeling, analysis, and automation
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for senior leaders
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Track record of influencing decisions across Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Finance
• Advanced spreadsheet/presentation skills; experience with Google Sheets/Slides a plus
• People management experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Own financial strategy, multi-year plan, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts for SoFi Checking & Savings and Credit Card
• Partner with BU leaders; translate data into insights to shape growth strategy
• Build and analyze unit economics (LTV, CAC, payback, risk-adjusted returns) across cohorts and channels
• Drive capital allocation through business cases and post-investment measurement
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Treasury, Accounting, and Data teams
• Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for interest rates, behavior, credit, and competition
• Develop business cases for major initiatives and establish post-investment measurement
• Summarize analyses into clear recommendations for Executive Leadership
• Identify and scale AI use cases to expand Strategic Finance capabilities
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with cross-functional collaboration and mentorship
