Job summary

SoFi is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead strategic finance for Checking & Savings and Credit Card, shaping multi-year planning, and driving disciplined capital allocation. You will partner with Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Data teams to build unit economics, model scenarios, and surface insights that guide growth and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in consumer financial-services economics and card economics.
• Proven modeling and scenario-analysis skills; proficient with AI tools in finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial strategy, multi-year plan, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts for SoFi’s Checking & Savings and Credit Card businesses.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to Business Unit leaders, translating financial and operational data into insights and recommendations.
• Build and analyze customer and product-level unit economics including LTV, CAC, payback periods, and risk-adjusted returns across cohorts and channels.
• Drive capital allocation through business cases, trade-off analyses, and post-investment performance measurement.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Treasury, Accounting, and Data teams to evaluate new products, pricing, and rewards strategies.
• Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to assess impact of rate changes, behavior, credit performance, and market dynamics.
• Develop business cases for major initiatives and establish post-investment measurement processes.
