Job summary

Alligare, LLC, located in Auburn, AL, seeks a seasoned Controller to lead finance and accounting functions, reporting to the CFO. You will supervise accounts payable, inventory, treasury and cost accounting, ensuring strong internal controls and accurate reporting for leadership and the board.

Collaborate with senior leadership to improve financial processes and present results; guide training for departments and support the annual budget and audit processes.

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of progressive accounting and finance experience at a minimum.
• Previous Controller or Senior Accounting Manager experience in small to mid-size business.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or chemical industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial, accounting and reporting activities for the department.
• Support presentations to Board of Directors and Adama Management.
• Lead day-to-day financial activities with staff over accounting, payable, inventory, treasury and cost accounting.
• Ensure internal controls and accurate financial systems; train department heads on procedures.
• Collaborate with CFO and senior leadership to improve efficiency of financial procedures.
