Job summary

Faegre Drinker seeks a Director of Financial & Strategic Analysis to lead the Finance department across multiple offices, driving budgeting, forecasting, and analytics to support strategic decisions.

The role partners with senior leadership to deliver data-driven insights, build modern analysis capabilities, and advance profitability. Hybrid work and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or financial leadership in a large law firm or professional services setting.
• Experience supporting executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision support.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and implementing analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of law firm economics, profitability drivers, and mattered economics.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial performance management processes.
• Partner with leadership to identify improvement opportunities in revenue, profitability, productivity, and overall financial performance.
• Develop financial models and analyses supporting strategic initiatives, investments, and resource allocation decisions.
• Provide actionable insights to support management decision making.
• Lead implementation and adoption of new data analytics and BI tools.
• Develop and enhance executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for senior leadership.
