Job summary

Omaha Airport Authority is seeking a Business and Accounting Analyst to support financial forecasting, budgeting and grants with cross-functional collaboration. The role drives process improvement and strengthens strategic initiatives across the business office.

Ideal candidates will bring financial and business analysis strengths, project leadership, and strong presentation skills to influence decisions and optimize performance in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, aviation, or law and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, communications, organizational, and management skills; able to mentor others.
• Excellent time management; able to prioritize and complete projects.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows with ERP systems.
• Ability to present information clearly to diverse groups of executives and staff.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis: assist budgeting for annual budgets and fees; analyze KPIs and financial metrics.
• Cash and Investments: help prepare monthly reconciliations and bond/cash reports.
• Monthly Accounting, Capital: process journal entries; track capital grants and invoicing.
• Special Projects: lead process improvement initiatives and support office projects.
