Motional is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Strategic Finance team in Boston. You will build and maintain long-range financial models, support strategic decisions, and work closely with Operations to refine forecasts and costs.

Ideal candidates have a finance/economics degree and 3+ years of experience with advanced Excel skills and strong communication abilities. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• 3+ years professional experience in finance or related area.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; ability to build complex models and run scenario analyses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Motional's long-range financial models to support strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
• Collaborate with Operations to refine revenue forecasting, deployment expenses, and operating assumptions.
• Extract strategic insights through quantitative analysis, unit economics, and benchmarking.
• Partner with stakeholders across Corporate Strategy, Commercial, Engineering, and Operations on cross-functional projects.
• Prepare slides and present findings to senior leadership.
