Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an Analyst/Associate, Strategic Finance to join our FP&A team in Boca Raton. You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, working closely with senior leaders and our private equity sponsor.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years in FP&A or related finance roles, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to develop insightful financial analyses. This is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to translate financial analysis into clear presentations.
• Solid understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, management presentations, quarterly board materials, and analyses for leadership.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow, and operational performance to identify drivers.
• Help prepare financial reporting packages for private equity sponsor and lenders, including covenant calculations.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses for acquisitions, growth initiatives, and pricing strategies.
• Track and evaluate capital expenditures to support capital allocation decisions.
• Monitor liquidity, leverage, and debt impact on financial decisions.
• Collaborate with the Director of FP&A, CFO, and senior leadership on analyses and projects.
