Talentify is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Midland, TX. You will analyze financial performance, build forecasts, and provide actionable recommendations to influence strategy and growth.

You will partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to drive business improvements and support critical decision-making. The role focuses on forecasting, variance analysis, and creating financial models to support strategic initiatives and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis techniques).
• Familiarity with financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Workday Adaptive, COGNOS, Tableau).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights that drive action.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: assist in development of forecasts and budgets and identify trends.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze performance and prepare detailed reports for leadership.
• Forecasting: build and update financial models to predict revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Variance Analysis: explain differences between actual results and budgets and provide insights.
• Operational Efficiency: analyze cost structures and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ad-Hoc Financial Modeling: support models for special initiatives and strategic planning.
• Business Partnering: advise senior leadership and department heads on financial guidance.
• KPI Monitoring: help define and track key financial KPIs.
• Process Improvement: streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
