Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a financial analyst to perform economic research, forecast trends, and develop models guiding strategic decisions. You will analyze budgets, depreciation, and investments while preparing reports for management.

The role emphasizes rigorous financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and travel up to 25%. A strong command of Excel and forecasting methods is essential in supporting our large-scale programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Analytical thinker with strong communication skills.
• Experience in finance, budgeting, forecasting or cost accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts quantitative analyses of budgets, expenses, and other financial projects.
• Collects and analyzes financial information for accounts, products, or business units.
• Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models.
• Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to guide actions.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
• Oversees cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and cost control for projects.
• Reviews and signs off on final accounts for projects.
• May maintain local registrations, business, and tax licenses.
