Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking candidates with an external audit foundation who want to transition into Corporate Accounting & Finance roles. The role offers exposure to FP&A, M&A, fund accounting, and system implementations across multiple industries.

No pre-requisite industry knowledge is required beyond External Audit experience and a willingness to take on new challenges to upskill as an A&F professional for long-term single-client engagements.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• CPA certification preferred or in process.
• Min 3 years External Audit exposure, Big 4 or large CPA firm.
• 3 busy seasons in external audit; 2 main busy seasons and a summer season accepted.
• Strong communication with C-Suite level individuals.
• GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC knowledge essential.
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables) desirable.
