Bunker Hill Community College is seeking a senior facilities leader to oversee all facilities management operations across campus locations in Boston. The role directs maintenance, custodial, grounds, fleet, and event support while guiding capital planning and risk management to support the College’s mission.

Responsibilities include developing and managing the department budget, ensuring compliance with OSHA/ADA and procurement laws, and leading staff through recruitment, performance

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in FM, Engineering, Construction Mgmt, Business Admin or related field.
• 5–7 years of facilities management experience with supervisory and budgeting.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships in a diverse environment.
• Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).

• Provide leadership for Facilities Management across all campuses.
• Develop short- and long-range facilities plans aligned with goals.
• Develop five-year deferred maintenance plan; annual equipment/building maintenance review.
• Advise executive leadership on facilities planning, risk, and capital priorities.
• Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership.
• Meet with College and community committees as appropriate.
• Direct facilities functions: maintenance, custodial, grounds, transport, event support.
• Oversee asset management system administration and reporting.
• Manage shuttle transportation for campuses; review contracts and data.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and risk management across facilities.
