Job summary

Safilo-US is seeking an Eyewear Sales Representative in Houston, TX to solicit and secure orders across the Safilo portfolio. You will grow market demand by managing a defined group of customer accounts and acting as a trusted advisor on product knowledge, pricing, and market insights.

You will build strong customer relationships, deliver sales targets, and collaborate with the local team to optimize territory performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on product knowledge, pricing, and market insights for customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to execute corporate plans, negotiate strategies, and achieve business objectives.
• Deliver volume and net sales targets across Safilo product portfolio.
• Drive sustainable growth by implementing the Safilo Sales Model with strategic customers.
• Collaborate with local synergy team and Territory Managers to coordinate relationships and initiatives.
• Develop and follow an effective call cycle to ensure service frequency, visiting customers at least twice per quarter.
• Manage and allocate company resources within territory to maximize sales.
• Gather and act on relevant market intelligence that may impact sales opportunities.
• Monitor performance against territory objectives and implement strategies to optimize results.
• Motivate, support, coach, train, and develop customers to maximize portfolio sales.
• Build relationships with doctors, opticians, store managers, and other decision-makers.
• Drive and manage customer assortment plans.
• Ensure brand visual merchandising standards are met, including refreshing POP materials.
• Conduct regular customer staff trainings using brand materials to reinforce product knowledge and ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Cultivate existing customer accounts while partnering with local sales team to identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor customer payment cycles and credit history.
• Participate in collection efforts as directed by the Company.
