Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Sr Vice President (Sr VP) of Behavioral Health Services to lead all clinical and operational functions of the Behavioral Health Service Line and ensure delivery of services and financial performance.

The role serves as an institutional leader on hospital committees and participates in organizational initiatives and special projects, reporting to a designated senior leader and shaping strategic direction.

Qualifications

Requires a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities.
Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience, with at least five (5) years of behavioral health operations experience or healthcare related experience.
Leadership experience should include management of staff, budgets and multiple functional areas.
Must be able to lead and mentor a team, helping them to achieve expected organizational performance.
Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to implement a strategic plan with a focus on customer service, financial management, internal processes and people needs.

Responsibilities

Lead all clinical and operational functions of the Behavioral Health Service Line.
Ensure delivery of clinical services and operational commitments required by patients.
Accountability for the department's financial performance.
Serve as an institutional leader on hospital committees, and participate in organizational initiatives and special projects.
