Job summary

Emerald Necklace Conservancy is seeking an energetic Events Manager to plan and execute fundraising and public events that engage the community with the Emerald Necklace. You will work with staff across departments and volunteers to deliver high-impact programs.

The role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and requires strong organizational skills, customer service and collaboration with donors, vendors and public partners. Some weekend/evening events are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years demonstrated event management experience.
• Experience with nonprofit event fundraising and event committees.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, budgeting and logistics for public and donor events.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and staff to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage volunteers, trainings and on-site day-of operations.
