Job summary

Aspenational is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the estimating team and drive timely, competitive project estimates. You will manage workloads, bid schedules, and ensure estimate quality while coordinating with preconstruction and operations teams.

In this role you will mentor staff, oversee subcontractor outreach, and align pursuit strategies with business development goals, ensuring smooth handoffs and accurate cost projections for commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of general construction experience focused on pre-construction and estimating.
• Experience leading estimating staff and coordinating bid processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Construction/PM, or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word; experience with estimating and earthworks software.
• Must pass pre-employment background, drug screen; valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the estimating team and manage preparation of accurate, competitive estimates.
• Oversee estimating staff workloads, bid schedules, estimate quality, and subcontractor/vendor outreach.
• Coordinate internally across the bid process with Director of Preconstruction, Operations, and Business Development.
• Support project pursuit strategies and successful project handoff with senior leadership.
