Job summary

Aquatech in the United States is seeking a full-time Planner to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules for Progress, Design Build projects, and bids. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to keep milestones on track and support decision-making with data-driven schedule insights.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience handling projects valued at $20M or more.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
• 1-4 years of relevant experience or 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Industry experience, including Desalination Plants, Progress Design Build “PDB”

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Lead coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure schedule alignment with project milestones and execution strategy.
• Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the overall project schedule, ensuring consistency and completeness.
• Monitor schedule performance, productivity, and progress against baseline plans, identifying trends and deviations.
• Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, and schedule variance evaluation.
• Conduct schedule impact and what-if analysis to assess potential risks and delays.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation and recovery plans to address schedule risks.
• Prepare and maintain short-term lookahead schedules (e.g., 3-week or rolling lookahead) to support execution planning.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly schedule reports, progress updates, and analysis to project stakeholders.
• Ensure schedule quality, logic integrity, and compliance with project controls procedures and standards.
• Participate in and contribute to schedule reviews, providing clear communication of schedule status, risks, and recommendations.
